Q. Do I need a vehicle permit to visit Fraser Island?
A. Yes, all vehicles must have a vehicle access permit to travel onto Fraser Island issued by Queensland Parks and Wildlife services. Click here for more information.
Q. What is the bedding configuration of the houses?
A. All houses have two Queen beds and two single beds.
A. We have a non-refundable deposit policy however you may choose to rebook on an alternate available date at the discretion of management. You may not rebook on an alternative date if the cancellation is made within 14 days of arrival.
Q. What do I need to pay when I book?
A. You must pay a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. If the booking is made within 14 days of arrival date the full amount must be paid.
Q. Do I need a four wheel drive?
A. Yes, Fraser Island can only be accessed by four wheel drive, you can however hire a four wheel drive from one of the many hire companies that service Fraser Island.
A. Unfortunately no, no animals may be brought onto Fraser Island.
